How We Do It
Scholarship
Each of the chosen participants receives an all expense paid trip. In addition to airfare, accommodations and meals, students also receive trip clothing and shoes appropriate for the region of travel.
Exposure
Each excursion takes the students to a country or region where the effects of climate change can be studied first hand. Past areas of focus have included marine life, wild life, forestry, and glaciology.
Education
Each group of students is accompanied by a scientist that specializes in the area of study for their trip. Students not only participate in field trips but also classroom sessions that serve to bridge traditional learning with hands on, real life application.
