The Frank Ski Bowl is played as a 4 Team Tournament with 2 Semifinal Games and a Championship Game.

There is also an 11U State Championship Showcase Game played as a special treat for the fans.

About the Youth Bowl

 

  • With well over 10 youth football leagues, the Atlanta Metro has one of the highest number of participants in youth football in America, rivaled only by Dallas and Miami.

    Each league is made up of several “home” parks. Participants in youth leagues range from age 4 to 12 years old with each Park Program having teams in up to 9 different age groups (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12-year-old teams) with several teams within each group that are “homed” in that park. Park programs also have a designated Travel Team for each age group that participates in the competition with other parks that fall within their respective leagues.

    Leagues host an annual end-of-season playoff series and championship game in each of the 9 age groups. Being named the 12 & Under Championship Team is the pinnacle of the youth football league experience.

    In Atlanta, there was historically no opportunity for teams to compete outside of their league. The results were several league champions across the metro Atlanta area but no overall “Atlanta Champion”… And so the Frank Ski Kids Foundation Youth Bowl was born.

    For the past 16 years, the Frank Ski Kids Foundation answers the question “Who Plays The Best Youth Football In Atlanta”?

    Drawing thousands of fans from every demographic across the metro area, from young kids to grandparents, players to cheerleaders, the trash-talking ends, and the champions of Atlanta Youth Football is crowned at The Frank Ski Bowl!

    In partnership with Born to Compete www.borntocompete.com, The Frank Ski Kids Foundation Selection Committee convenes yearly to identify the top four 12 & Under Youth Football Teams in the Atlanta Metro area.
